With Mamelodi Sundowns having the luxury of being able to play two different teams in different tournaments, Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro says that is not going to work at his team.
Sundowns have shown their squad depth, being able to rotate their team when games come thick and fast in both the CAF Champions League and domestically.

Pirates topped the CAF Champions League's Group C after a 3-0 victory over Stade d'Abidjan on Saturday and will turn their focus back to the Betway Premiership title race on Wednesday, playing away against Cape Town City.
Ahead of that trip, Riveiro has suggested he does not personally believe in rotation, with the penultimate CAF Champions League group encounter against CR Belouizdad looming on Sunday.
"We don't believe in rotation as such, understanding that we're gonna have two teams and one team is gonna compete in this competition and in three days another team (in a different competition). It's not gonna work, it's not working," Riveiro told journalists in a post-match press conference at Orlando Stadium.
"So, we try to keep our structure, our core, as much as we can, understanding that it's not a science but it's close. We have a lot of resources nowadays in football for us as coaches to be as accurate as possible.
"To know when, for example, one player is already accumulating fatigue because we played three games in a space of eight days and needs a rest, before he gets injured. There's some red flags during the process that will tell you that, 'Okay, Riveiro needs to rest'.

"So, that's what we try to do, moment of the player, make sure that we have as much players available as possible and then try to see what is the moment of the player and what we need in each and every moment of the game," added the Spaniard.
After a 2-1 win over Belouizdad in November, Riveiro did not rotate his team and Bucs lost their first game of the season against Stellenbosch FC.
