An Orlando Pirates legend has expressed unhappiness with Patrick Maswanganyi's performance against Sekhukhune United on Wednesday, hot on the heels of his Soweto Derby heroics.
Despite the 2-1 win, Maswanganyi appeared far from his best, raising questions if there were consistency issues in his game.

"Yesterday's game wasn't convincing. I never thought a player like 'Tito' would finish a game," says Johnny 'Black Sunday' Masegela.
"I don't know whether he is a big-match player or what, it never looked like he was training with the team in preparation for the Sekhukhune game.
"If you are able to do big stuff in a big game, then the smaller games are supposed to be easy. You must come out having scored five goals if possible.
"Maybe he is a big-stage player. You can even count how many times he got the ball and passed it to his teammates yesterday, and how many balls he received.
"How many attempts did he have yesterday? I mean, it wasn't a tough game whereby you can say he was bottled up," Masegela adds.
The former Buccaneers star also notes that Maswanganyi played like he had just returned from an injury.
"I'm not sure whether he tends to choose games or what, I'm just saying it looks likes he didn't even train with the team leading to yesterday's game.

"Tito, remember, he has set standard already, so he was not doing as expected. A lot is expected from anybody whose name comes top after a derby.
"I'm afraid he might commit even more mistakes against [Mamelodi] Sundowns on the weekend because he will be looking to prove to people that he is still the same Tito they know, and not the one they saw against Sekhukhune."
