Agent confirms rescue plan for Pirates striker

Orlando Pirates Bienvenu Eva Nga's game-time struggles have left him with one option of leaving during the next transfer window if he is to seek improved fortunes elsewhere.

Eva Nga has been at Pirates since the beginning of the 2022/23 season but has had a disappointing stay.

Since scoring on debut against Moroka Swallows in August last year, Eva Nga has been on target in the other 16 appearances that he has made.

The Cameroonian forward started the past season amongst those at the front of the queue and was involved in the opening eight league games.

However, without goals to his name, Jose Riveiro soon lost faith and relegated him down the pecking order.

Through the last 12 months, Eva Nga has only played six games giving a clear indication that he is no longer a favourite.

This season, the bustling forward has not played in the league with his two appearances having come in the CAF Champions League.

Charles Dominguez, who works as Eva Nga's representative, confirms that the Pirates striker is a number one priority for him in the next transfer window.

"We will definitely have to engage Pirates on Eva Nga because his situation is a priority for me," says Dominguez.

A loan move in January would provide a temporary solution though options on the local market are thin.

Fellow Cameroonian Souaibou Marou has also faced unhappy times at Pirates and is now set to move in January with his former club CotonSport open to having him back on loan.

Marou has only had 123 minutes of game time to his name without a goal.
