Innocent Maela's trophy count of six at Orlando Pirates has come with Jose Riveiro as head coach in all but one.
It then makes it all understandable that the Pirates skipper gets supercharged when talking about Riveiro – whose future at the club is hanging with his contract up at the end of June.
Pirates have played 120 games since the Spaniard was appointed, putting him top of the list in games played by the side under one coach throughout the club's PSL history.

"We have been privileged enough to be working with a top coach, everyone that has been involved," says Maela when asked about Riveiro.
Having been at Pirates for eight years, Maela has seen it all under the 49-year-old.
"There are guys who started with us and some who are no longer with the group can tell you the same thing.
"We have improved immensely, you can see the difference.
"Someone asked if we are proud of the season so far.
"It is a record-breaking season, so it goes without question, the work that we have been doing ever since we started with the coach.
"So, for us as players, we want to keep going.
"We want to keep winning.
"We have shown that we are different as this group.
"When there is an opportunity for us to go out there and win, we want to grab it.
"We don't get to a place where we feel like now, we have achieved.
"As long as the opportunity is there for us, we will go out there and make sure that we do our level best and that is the mindset that we are getting from the coach and the technical team.
"The mindset that we have is that we want to win and win for him, the club, and everyone involved.

"The club has given us that opportunity to be present in the last stages of the season and it is what we all want.
"I don't think the coach will want to win and the players don't want, or vice versa, no.
"We have the same mindset, and we have shown it through the years and the work speaks for itself, so we just have to keep going and see where we get when the season ends," says Maela.
