Following a stamp of approval by Hugo Broos on Relebohile Mofokeng potentially moving to Europe in the winter, former Cape Town City head coach Eric Tinkler has raised his reservations.
Broos has been offering public advice on whether certain young players are ready for overseas, after initially warning it was too early for former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Cassius Mailula to go abroad after just one season in the PSL.

He had also advised, speaking to the media last season, that Mofokeng needed at least another campaign with Orlando Pirates in the CAF Champions League to develop experience.
The Belgian recently suggested the 20-year-old is ready for Europe, although not yet for a big club like Barcelona (B) or physical leagues like the Scottish Premiership, where he has previously been linked with Rangers.
The Bafana coach suggested that top-flight leagues such as Belgium or Netherlands could suit Mofokeng if he moves at the end of the season, although not to a big club.
However, Tinkler has suggested an area of growth for the former DStv Diski Challenge star if he is to make it.
"The youngster has shown a lot of maturity compared to other youngsters. At his age, very comfortable on the ball and he's not afraid to express himself, which is a positive," Tinkler said on SoccerBeat YouTube Channel.

"But I also think there's a lot of room for growth. I think his size is still an issue for me, especially if we want to consider him to go to overseas, to Europe. That's an area of development he needs to improve.
"We live in a different world now with social media and sometimes we build people up way higher than what they really are and as long as he remains grounded and understands that there's still a lot of room for growth, then he has all the potential of going into Europe."
