Mngqithi tips Mohafe for greatness

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi has tipped Phuti Mohafe to become one of the best coaches in the country.

Mohafe helped Polokwane City beat Sundowns by 1-0 during the Betway Premiership match played in Limpopo last weekend.

This was the Brazilian's first defeat in the league this season, while Rise and Shine moved to the top-four position on the log.

Mohafe is enjoying his second season in charge of Polokwane City after taking coaching reigns from Lehlohonolo Seema last season.

"I have known this boy for more than ten years now, and you can ask him. I told him you would become one of the best coaches in the country," said Mngqithi.

"The first time I saw him, I think we playing a pre-season friendly and was listening to him when was talking to his team on the bench and I heard that this boy has got attention to detail and has got a lot to offer to South African  football.

"From that time up until now, our relationship has always been good. He is one boy I  am very optimistic that will make it because he understands the game, he loves the game, and has got attention to detail," he added.

Polokwane City will travel to Tshwane on Wednesday to face Mamelodi Sundowns for the return fixtures at the Loftus Versfeld stadium.
