Manuel Kambala is staying put in the Betway Premiership despite reports that have linked him with a return to Mozambican club UD Songo.
Kambala put in a workman shift last season for Polokwane City in his first season at the club after joining from Magesi FC.

The 22 appearances in central midfield were an influential factor as Polokwane surprisingly finished in the top eight ahead of Kaizer Chiefs.
This then prompted the interest from his previous employers UD Songo who announced his signing before any deal had been finalised despite talks.
KickOff can now confirm that Kambala will be staying put at Polokwane due to contract-related matters.
The 32-year-old will be amongst the most senior players at the club with his experience having shown throughout pre-season.
He has been training with Polokwane throughout all of pre-season and will be registered for the new campaign.

Kambala is famously remembered for denying Chiefs the 2019/20 title after his goal, while at Baroka FC, meant Amakhosi didn't collect the three points they needed to pip Mamelodi Sundowns to the title.
Chiefs have not been anywhere close to winning the league since then under Gavin Hunt, Stuart Baxter, Arthur Zwane, Molefi Ntseki and Cavin Johnson, which is why that Kambala goal still hurts the Soweto giants up to now.
