REVEALED | Whether Richards Bay will be allowed to select on-loan Sundowns star for Nedbank Cup clash

Richards Bay are set to be without the services of defender Siyanda Msani against Mamelodi Sundowns in a Nedbank Cup clash on Tuesday.

Msani is currently on loan at Richards Bay from parent club Sundowns for the duration of the 2022/23 campaign.

Due to the loan agreement between the two clubs, the 21-year-old is ineligeble for Tuesday's Round of 32 fixture at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

SuperSport United similarly have been without the services of on-loan Sundowns stars previously in the season with both Ricardo Goss and Grant Margeman missing a prior DStv Premiership clash this season.

Richards Bay United boss, Sifiso Biyela has also cleared the issue around a defender, Harold Majadibodu who joined the club from Mamelodi Sundowns at the beginning of the season.

"Yes, it's true, Siyanda Msani will miss the match this evening due to the loan agreement with Mamelodi Sundowns," Richards Bay United boss, Sifiso Biyela confirms to KickOff.

"Harold Majadibodu though, is our player, so he is available for selection.

Mamelodi Sundowns are set to be without the services of Marcelo Allende and Khuliso Mudau due to suspension.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
