Former Kaizer Chiefs forward Samir Nurkovic has sensationally confirmed an ongoing tense financial dispute with former club Royal AM with a complaint lodged to FIFA.
Before commenting on his ongoing financial dispute and future, the Serbian threw his support behind the Serbia national team at this year's Qatar World Cup.
As his countrymen kick off their campaign against Brazil on Thursday in Group G which also has Cameroon and Switzerland.

Nurkovic is the most recognisable Serbian to ever play in the DStv Premiership with his fellow countrymen Obren Cuckovic and Dejan Bogunovic having failed to make much of an impression.
He is remembered for the weight of the contribution he made in the first of three years that he spent at Chiefs before leaving upon the expiry of his contract in June.
"Serbia has a good team and I know that they will be a strong competitor," Nurkovic tells KickOff.
The Serbians have half their squad playing in Italy and are led by Dusan Tadic of Ajax Amsterdam and Fulham gunman Aleksandar Miltrovic who has already scored nine goals in 12 games in the English Premier League.
Though Brazil is in the same group as Serbia, Nurkovic feels they will go on to lift the trophy for the sixth time on December 18.
"In terms of winning I put my prediction on Brazil to win the cup," declares Nurkovic.
In the meantime, Nurkovic has already parted ways with Royal AM leaving without featuring in a single official game.
He has since filed a breach of contract case with FIFA via his Croatia based lawyer Davor Lazic.
Lazic has told this website that the 30-year-old is free to move on and is injury free.
Nurkovic adds that he stands by all the words of his legal representative who filed a complaint with FIFA on November 7 after a financial dispute with Royal AM.
Royal AM terminated the Serbian's contract after sending a letter with a month's notice on September 23 without ever paying him despite a contract that came into effect on July 1 and the matter is now with the FIFA dispute resolution chambers.
"I fully stand by the words of my lawyer," Nurkovic noted.
As previously reported, the 30-year-old's legal representative, Davor Lazic made several claims against Royal AM in seeking a resolution to a tense ongoing financial dispute.
"We have filed a case as of today (November 7) because we waited without a response besides the one that we got on September 23 stating that the club has taken a decision to terminate the player's contract," Lazic, who is based in Zagreb, Croatia said.
The former Kaizer Chiefs star is also tipped to remain in the DStv Premiership with two Johannesburg-based clubs already showing interest as potential destinations. One team remains unknown as several teams look to reinforce their attack in the second half of the season.
TS Galaxy are believed to be highly interested with Sead Ramovic's side struggling for goals having registered just six goals in 12 games.
