Nurkovic is situated currently in Johannesburg north with his partner while maintaining his fitness in the gym in anticipation of a new blockbuster move.

The 30-year-old's last appearance was in the colours of Chiefs in the 2021/2022 season in a 16-minute cameo against Mamelodi Sundowns on May 8, 2022.
The campaign proved underwhelming for the Serb after registering a solitary goal after suffering from a long-term knee injury.
When Chiefs decided not to renew the option of another year on his contract in June last year, Nurkovic moved to Royal AM.

However, his stay at Royal AM turned sour and came to a premature end due to unpaid salaries forcing the Serbian to file a case with FIFA in seeking to settle his differences with the club.
Nurkovic was only fielded in the Macufe Cup against his former club.
The matter is now with the world football governing body who are due to make a ruling soon with Nurkovic bargaining on a good pay-out.
"Samir is here in Johannesburg training on his own," a source reveals to KickOff.
"He is not injured at all and needs a new club to play for to revive his career which has been on hold.
"The challenge with him is that he will never get any package near to what he was earning at Chiefs during his last season.
"So, the money factor is an issue with him because of what he was getting.
"What can only happen for him locally now is to wait for the new season and move to a small club that won't pay even half of his previous package.
"His value has dropped now because he hasn't played this so that will disadvantage him in trying to get a good deal," says a source.
