Amajimbos – the South African men's Under-17 national team – has been thrown into a tricky for the TotalEnergies Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Duncan Crowie coached team will face Nigeria, Morocco, and Zambia in the junior continental tournament in Algeria from April 29 – May 19.

Notable names in the squad will be Siyabonga Mabena, Gennaro Johnson, Benjamin Wallis, Gabriel Amato, and Vincent Sithole.
The AFCON tournament in Algeria will determine the four countries from the continent who will qualify for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Peru from November 10 – December 2.
Amajimbos
qualified as COSAFA Under-17 Championships/Region 5 Youth Games runners-up after defeat to Zambia in
the final last month in Malawi.
