As Rulani Mokwena touched down in Morocco on Thursday and was then immediately introduced as the new head coach of Wydad Casablanca, the size of the task at hand didn't need a microscope.
Wydad is a bigger club than his previous employers Mamelodi Sundowns on all fronts – 22 league titles, nine-time Moroccan cup champions and three-time CAF Champions League winners – plus they attract a far much bigger following as proven by numbers that attend their matches at the Stade Mohammed V.

The interest on Wydad's Facebook page provided further evidence, with 17 000 viewers plugged to watch this press conference.
"I understand how big a challenge this is," pointed out Mokwena upon being introduced to the media on Thursday.
"Believe me, I don't come here with my eyes closed.
"The negotiations have taken quite a long time because there were quite a few things that we had to agree on and one thing that I really appreciate is that the board is as ambitious as I am and have committed themselves to giving us full support to wake up a sleeping giant.
"Our work is not to teach Wydad how to win as a football club.
"I mean, 22 league titles, 3 Champions League [titles]... it is a team that knows how to win.
"Ours is to remind them what Wydad stands for.
"When you speak about love.
"When I did my research on the club, I found out that the word Wydad means love, appreciation, and so the love and appreciation that I have once felt from the supporters as an opponent, I'm grateful that things have changed.
"Now, I will receive the same love and even more as I join this incredible family.

"It is going to be a difficult task, but the board and supporters understand.
"But difficult doesn't mean impossible and our job is to get this club back to where it belongs," says Mokwena.
