South Africa U20 coach Raymond Mdaka has confirmed that SAFA have begun efforts to recruit rising star Ayanda Sishuba, who plays for Ligue 1 side RC Lens, amid his eligibility for the Belgian national team.
To the uninitiated, Ayanda is the son of former Bafana Bafana midfielder Asanda Sishuba.
The 19-year-old was born in Belgium to a Belgian mother and a South African father, with dual citizenship to represent either country.

Sishuba has already represented Belgium's U19s but remains eligible to switch to South Africa as he has not made a appearance in senior national team colours of either country.
The teenager is considered a major prospect, having already made seven appearances for French outfit RC Lens last season, after impressing in the team's reserve side.
Mdaka confirmed to journalists that SAFA had already made contact with Sishuba's family in a bid to recruit the youngster.
"In particular with Sishuba, I think the office [SAFA] has had contact with him, contact with the parents. These are the kinds of players that we think we would want to have because we know them, they have been there [in the system]," said Mdaka.
"We can even compare them with what we have now, but all the players that we wanted to come for this camp, I think we contacted them and discussed the situation and challenges. And with regards to those who had challenges with documentation with a South African passport, and all these other things, it's something we are trying to work on.

"Sometimes, as a coach, you are in-between - you talk to the manager, the manager talks to the players, and some agents talk to the players and so on."
"But from where we stand, it looks like he's somebody they're interacting with, along with his parents, and I might not know exactly what he's saying on the inside right now."
Meanwhile, reports in France claim Sishuba could be set for a return to Belgium and that Lens have slapped a €4 million (R79 million) price tag on the attacking midfielder.
