Sekhukhune United have paved the way for Shaune Mogaila to move on to a career highlight of significance since returning to action in February.
Mogaila is out on bail after twice appearing in court facing charges of culpable homicide, reckless and negligent driving and fleeing the scene.
The 29-year-old was on the steering of the BMW which was involved in an accident on the morning of October 30 just hours after he had played 90 minutes against Richards Bay FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
A schoolkid died after the accident and Mogaila is now due for his third appearance on May 19 after further investigations.
In the meanwhile, the 29-year-old is back on the field executing his duties to levels that he hasn’t reached before throughout his time playing in the top tier of the professional ranks.
Since making his return against AmaZulu FC in February after missing a dozen matches, Mogaila has built up an impressive run of nine consecutive full shifts.
In playing 90 minutes in those nine games in a row, he has had a return of three assists and one goal.
Mogaila has never had such a run of consecutive appearances playing from start to finish without missing a game along the way since his time at Highlands Park through to TS Galaxy, and Royal AM.
With Sekhukhune still having up to seven games to play, Mogaila could stretch his run further and be on to his best by the time of his next court appearance on May 19.
