After announcing a new head coach, Sekhukhune United have had a major squad overhaul by releasing 13 players.
Sekhukhune have had a busy off-season so far after parting ways with Lehlohonolo Seema, whose contract was not renewed.

The Limpopo out recently confirmed German coach Peter Hyballa as the new head coach, with MacDonald Makhubedu and Paulos Masehe confirmed as the assistants.
Sekhukhune have now attended to clearing out the first team, with Kamohelo Mokotjo and Edwin Gyimah among 13 first team players to be released.
Mokotjo has been a key figure for Sekhukhune in the last two years, having racked up 50 appearances for the club.

Sekhukhune will also be competing in the CAF Confederation Cup this season after finishing fourth in the DStv Premiership last season.
The team made it all the way to the group stages of the tournament this past campaign, but were unable to progress to the knockout round.
