Keagan Dolly's camp has clarified their position regarding reported talks with SuperSport United and what the future holds for the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder.
Dolly was one of the four players that were released by Chiefs at the end of June, including Siyethemba Sithebe, Sifiso Hlanti and Njabulo Ngcobo, after their contracts were not renewed.
Reports subsequently emerged that SuperSport were the favourites to sign the Bafana Bafana midfielder, as Kickoff also revealed that the 31-year-old's representatives were in talks with Matsatsantsa.

However, with some movements being confirmed by United, including the signing of Pogiso Sanoka recently, this website did a follow-up on the progress in negotiations for the former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker to join Gavin Hunt's charges, after indications that the deal may not happen after all.
SSG's Head of Media and Public Relations Msizi Gumede set the record straight on the 31-year-old's reported move to SuperSport, as he also clarified that Dolly was not training with Matsatsantsa, as some reports alleged.
"We were in touch with SuperSport, Keagan [Dolly] successfully passed his medical and contrary to some reports, he's never trained at SuperSport," Gumede told Kickoff.
"There was a deal agreed in principle but unfortunately the deal was not to be concluded and we've been actively looking at other options, especially overseas in the last week."
There have been misconceptions about Dolly's injury he sustained at Chiefs last season, which limited his impact in his last campaign at the Naturena-based side.
Gumede also allayed speculation over reported injury worries, as he revealed that the Bafana midfielder has regained his fitness and is ready for his next challenge.
"Keagan's last injury was a broken toe, sustained in a game for Kaizer Chiefs, as we all know broken toes in football take time to heal but as we said, he passed his medical with flying colours [at SuperSport], he's fit to go and he's looking forward for the next challenge," Gumede added.
Statistically, Dolly has had his best seasons of his career at Chiefs, in both the 2021/22 and 2022/23 campaigns.
