The 32-year-old surprisingly parted ways with TS Galaxy three weeks ago just a day before the start of the Premiership.
This came after he delivered 10 goals through the season that he spent at Galaxy having joined them in September last year after 16 months without competitive minutes.
Prior to being at Galaxy, Nurkovic had spent three years at Chiefs where he went into double figures on the scoring charts in his first season before contractual issues and injuries diluted his effectiveness in the next two years.
Royal AM then came calling with a two-year deal with an option of a further year, but it turned sour thus forcing him to file a case at FIFA which is now due to be settled at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Nurkovic has agreed on a deal with SuperSport where his experience will be counted on in leading the attack.

Nurkovic already has the advantage of having done his pre-season with Galaxy where he trained since July until his departure in September.
