Relegation-threatened Swallows FC remain unable to register any new players in the current January transfer window due to an ongoing FIFA imposed transfer ban.
Swallows were punished after failing to reimburse former players Obren Cuckovic and Vladimir Mandic after FIFA ruled in the duo's favour during a hearing in September 2022.
The Soweto giants are languishing in 14th position in the league standings just clear of the relegation zone on goal difference.
Serbian goalkeeper Cuckovic and Mandic of Slovenia took the club to the world governing body for breach of contract which has now come back to clip the Dube Birds' wings in the transfer window.

Swallows had initially negotiated an agreement with the two players' German lawyer and agreed to a reported settlement fee, that they later failed to meet.
"There is still nothing that has come my way," Cuckovic tells KickOff.
"From my understanding the club (Swallows) lost all rights to appeal last year so the ban is still on, and I haven't received what is due to me.
"I'm not happy to hear that they are struggling but there is a solution to this.
"I don't know how they are thinking about resolving this problem, but the only way is to play, and everything will be resolved in less than 24 hours after that," says Cuckovic.
The matter is complicated by the fact that the two players were contracted to Moroka Swallows which was relegated in consecutive years and subsequently liquidated before the birth of the renamed Swallows FC, via the purchase of Maccabi's status.
Word is that if Swallows pay these two players it will then pave way for several other claims with several other players including Brazilian midfielder Igor Alves also still owed by the previous owners of The Birds.
Cuckovic played only two games for Swallows as they were relegated from the PSL in the 2014/15 season and is now working as first assistant at struggling Serbian third-division club OFK Backa Palanka.
Mandic scored once in 16 games for Swallows in the same season.
Swallows FC's lawyers have claimed the case was complicated by SAFA erring in linking them to the previous Moroka Swallows.
So far, Swallows have already lost Promise Mkhuma who has gone back to parent club Mamelodi Sundowns after The Birds failed to register him.
