With Victor Osimhen only having one goal to his name at this edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, his coach Jose Peseiro has addressed his talisman's lack of productivity upfront at the tournament.
While the Lagos native is the reigning Serie A golden boot winner and has continued his prolific nature in front of goal for the Neapolitans this season, he is yet to find his goalscoring shoes at Africa's biggest tournament.

The 25-year-old only found the back of the net in the Super Eagles' opening match of the competition from the penalty spot against Equatorial Guinea. The inefficiency in front of goal has however not hampered him from being effective for his side as his industriousness has helped the west African giants make their way to the final.
His coach, Peseiro, seems to also have no issues with Osimhen's goal productivity given everything else he offers though.
"I think you must see in the match, he fights for us, he doesn't play like a star," the former Al Ahly boss told members of the media.
"He works, he defends, he attacks, he fights a lot you know. He opens space for us, he sacrifices a lot.
"He does the best everyday because he knows, he's an important player. He suffers a lot of contact and pressure, but he also knows that the team helps him. The team, our captain, everybody helps each other.
