Cameroon legend Samuel Eto'o reportedly finds himself in trouble once again, this time with a member of his own family.
The former FC Barcelona striker is facing a legal case in Italy after his 21-year-old daughter, Annie, accused him of not paying his agreed child maintenance, according to Football Espana.

The four-time CAF African footballer of the Year is understood to have been recognised as her father in 2015, when a DNA test proved that he and the woman were biologically related.
It is reported that Annie is the product of an affair between the former striker and Anna Maria Barranca that took place in Italy in 2002.
However, prior to that DNA test, the Cameroonian was said to have never been involved in her life.
After the test, following which a judge deemed the pair to be father and daughter, Eto'o was said to have agreed to pay his former mistress €10 000 (R200 000) in maintenance.
Now, it is alleged that the amount has been unpaid and that the former Inter Milan star has not kept his word, prompting the daughter, believed to currently be a student, to file a legal complaint against her seemingly estranged father.
This is not the first time in recent months that the retired attacker has made headlines for what could be seen as the wrong reasons.

The current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation's conduct since being appointed to the role in 2021 was questioned earlier this year after his alleged involvement in a match-fixing scandal resulted in calls for him to step down from his position.
