'Coach Mokwena is very demanding...'

A Wydad Athletic Club star has now shared his experience of working with Rulani Mokwena, and given his verdict on the South African manager.

The Moroccan outfit announced the signing of left-back Zakaria Nassik on a three-year deal earlier this week, and he has since been training with his new side.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns boss has thus had the opportunity to assess his new signing, but the training sessions have also given the defender an opportunity to experience and reflect on life under the four-time Premiership winner.

Nassik has now shared his thoughts on his new manager, and expressed his desire to not let the tactician down.

"Coach Mokwena is very demanding, and this is normal, because when you raise the level you will meet a coach of a high level, and I hope we do not disappoint him," the 27-year-old told the club's media, per Moroccan news site Al3omk

The player went on to speak about the training environment he now finds himself in and outlined his goals as a Red Castle star.

"The training is taking place in a wonderful atmosphere at a strong pace, and we are capable of it, God willing.

"My goal with Wydad is to win all continental and local titles, and why not even international titles.

"We also aspire to be among the best generations that have passed through the history of this team."
