CAF have announced the 2023 Men's Player of the Year at annual awards ceremony in Morocco.
Nigeria international Victor Osimhen walked away with the coveted award this year after a wonderful year for Serie A side Napoli.

The 24-year-old registered 31 goals across all competitions, which included 26 in the Italian top flight as Napoli ended their 33-year wait for a league title.
Osimhen beat out competition from Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and Paris Saint-Germain full-back Achraf Hakimi.
The Napoli striker is the fifth Nigerian player to win the prestigious award and the first winner since Nwankwo Kanu lifted accolade in 1999.
Morocco were also big winners on their night after their historic run at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, with the team winning the National Team of the Year while Walid Regragui and Yassine Bounou picked the Coach and Goalkeeper of the Year awards respectively.
