Highly coveted Aziz Ki 'offered' R7.9m-a-year deal

Highly coveted Young Africans star Stephane Aziz Ki, previously linked with Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, has now reportedly been offered a handsome deal worth $440 000 (R7.9 million) a year by a top African club.

Speculation around the Burkina Faso international's future has not relented, despite several attempts by Yanga to dismiss suggestions that the player could leave the club ahead of the 2024/25 season.

On Monday, Yanga president Hersi Said finally admitted that there was in fact a possibility that the 28-year-old could yet leave the club, but there is still a "60/40" chance that he will remain with the Tanzanian champions.

Said further revealed that the club has received offers from various clubs, including South African teams, for Aziz ki's services.

However, a new report suggests that a north African giant has now launched an enticing offer for the Burkinabe too.

According to Africafoot, CR Belouizdad have submitted a lucrative two-year contract offer worth R7.9 million per year for the player.

It is said the president of the Algerian club, Mehdi Rabehi, personally invited Aziz Ki to present him the offer, with the skilful winger also promised a three-month salary advance upon signing, estimated to be in the region of $110 000 (R1.9 million).

It is further claimed that Belouizdad have also agreed to provide him with a fully furnished home in Algiers, as well as cover his entire transfer fees.

Furthermore, the benefits are also said to include two return business-class plane tickets a year, courtesy of the club, in order for the player to visit his family.

Last term, Aziz Ki won the Tanzanian Mainland Premier League title with Yanga, and the league's Golden Boot award after registering 23 goals and nine assists in 29 games.
