An international star now looks set to snub European clubs interested in him in favour of a move to African giants Al Ahly.
Stade Brestois star Achraf Dari has been linked with a move to Al Ahly in the current transfer window, with LALIGA side Espanyol and Belgian outfit RSC Anderlecht also said to also be interested in his services.

The Red Devils' interest in the 25-year-old defender comes as centre-back Mohamed Abdelmonem is said to be close to joining Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice.
Dari's father, Zohauir, recently revealed that his son has been negotiating a deal with the Egyptian giants, and confirmed that their offer is more appealing than that of the two European clubs.
"Negotiations between Al Ahly and Brest to sign Achraf Dari are ongoing," Dari told DMC, per KingFut.
"Achraf has received other offers from Espanyol and Anderlecht, but the best offer came from Al Ahly.
"I would love to see Achraf Dari at Al Ahly, and I hope he can be an asset to the team if he joins."
Dari went on to add that the player is not content with life in France at the moment.
"Achraf doesn't feel comfortable in France for religious reasons due to some unsettling things happening outside of football."
The Morocco international spent the latter part of the 2023/24 campaign on a short-term loan at Belgian Pro League outfit Royal Charleroi SC.
He made nine appearances for the side, contributing with three goals during his stay at the side.
