SA coach aims to pile more misery on Wydad

Jwaneng Galaxy head Coach Morena Ramoreboli has underlined the importance of getting maximum points against Wydad Casablanca in the CAF Champions League.

The Botswana side currently sit third in Group B with four points to their name, one point ahead of bottom-placed Wydad.

Wydad have been struggling for most of the current campaign in both domestic and continental action, but they now face the prospect of a group stage elimination.

Ramoreboli says facing the Moroccan giants on Saturday is similar to that of a semi-final encounter.

"This game against Wydad will be like a semi-final and we need these crucial three points as the last game will be like a final to us," the South African coach said, as per CAF.

"So, everyone should come and fill the stadium and we won't disappoint them."

Galaxy captain Thabo Leinanyane echoed his coach's sentiments and called on the supporters to come out in their numbers.

"We are more than ready as players and badly want three points as these points will increase our chances of qualifying for the knockout stages," he added.

"I urge Botswana to come in large numbers to rally behind us."
