Young Africans coach ready for 'difficult' Al Ahly test

Young Africans coach Miguel Gamondi says his charges are ready for the big test of Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League on Saturday evening.

The Tanzanian giants got their group stage campaign off to a losing note after going down 3-0 to Belouizdad last weekend.

Yanga had a nightmare build-up to the clash as a number of players were not ready due to the international break.

The Argentine tactician says the team are ready for the reigning African champions and have overcome their fitness issues.

"We're set to face a strong and big opponent in Al Ahly. We are ready for this difficult game," Gamondi said, as per Cafonline.

"We lost to Belouizdad because of stress.

"But we've overcome our biggest issue with players now having enough rest."

Meanwhile, Al Ahly coach Marcel Koller says Young Africans can not be underestimated despite their big loss.

"They are a strong and organized team achieving good results lately," outlined the Swiss trainer.

"We must make a big effort against Young Africans but always play to win and respect every competitor."
