Former Mamelodi Sundowns star Nyasha Mushekwi is in red-hot form in China, with the Zimbabwean having set a stunning new personal record.
The now-37-year-old has been in fine form since joining Chinese second-tier side Yunnan Yukun in February this year, with his time at the club set to run until December 2025.

Prior to Yukun's most recent game against Shijiazhuang Gongfu FC, the ex-Masandawana talisman had registered 22 goals in 27 league games for the side.
However, Mushekwi scored twice this past weekend, although it was not enough for his team as they lost the game 3-2.
The centre-forward scored in both halves of the match to set a new personal best for the most goals he has scored in a season with 24 strikes, as per Soccer24.
His previous best was 23 goals while playing for Zhejiang FC in the same division, a tally that saw him win the league's 2020/21 Golden Boot award.
Moreover, Mushekwi now has 92 goals and 11 assists in 140 matches in the Chinese second tier, according to Transfermarkt.
The marksman has made only 18 appearances for Zimbabwe, though, scoring just four goals in the process, before he announced his retirement from international football in 2019.
Earlier this year, former Warriors caretaker coach Jairos Tapera revealed that members of the national team camp approached Mushekwi over the possibility of him coming out of retirement.

However, their efforts proved unsuccessful, although they would later convince Khama Billiat to revoke his retirement from international football.
