Outspoken Tuchel given 'strict warning' by Bayern

Outspoken Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly been given a very strict warning by the club's board members.

The German tactician has built somewhat of a reputation for his outspoken nature, as he become notorious for his brutal honesty about his teams during press conferences.

His character has also been called into question at times, with reports suggesting he left his previous two jobs at Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea due to differences with the club's decision-makers.

Since taking over at Bayern in March this year, Tuchel has been quite open about the issues he has had to contend with at the club and this is said to have become increasingly frustrating for his handlers.

According to Bild, the executives in Bavaria have since held a secret meeting during the recent international break to address some concerns.

In the meeting, the manager is said to have been told by board members Uli Hoenes, Herbert Hainer, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, and Jan-Christian Dreesen to be less emotional and refrain from speaking negatively about the team in public.

Tuchel will not be on the dugout for their UEFA Champions League opening clash against Manchester United as he serves a one-match suspension due to his sending off during their 1-1 draw against Manchester City in April.

Bild reports that he is expected to leave the dressing room 15 minutes before kick-off and not return until after the game, while his  assistants Zsolt Low and Anthony Barry will oversee proceedings from the touchline.
