Chelsea 'furious' with Aubameyang's trip to Barca

Chelsea are reportedly furious with club outcast Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after his trip to ElClasico this past Sunday.

The Gabonese star was spotted taking part in FC Barcelona's dressing room celebrations following the side's 2-1 victory over arch-rivals Real Madrid on Sunday.

Since leaving the Camp Nou in September to join the Blues on a two-year deal, his situation at Stamford Bridge has drastically deteriorated after Thomas Tuchel, who convinced him to join the club, was sacked the day after the African made his debut.

The 33-year-old has registered just over 800 minutes of football so far and has been frozen out of the squad after new head coach Graham Potter excluded him from the team's UEFA Champions League squad and handed him only seven minutes of action since the beginning of February.

There were also rumours in January that he could leave after the Todd Boehly-led ownership signed eight players during that window, including forward Joao Felix and David Datro Fofana.

It is now reported that the former Borussia Dortmund talisman could now see his time in West London come to a premature end following his dressing room celebrations with his former teammates at Barca.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, Chelsea are furious about the situation and may terminate Aubameyang's contract at the end of the season, just one season into his two-year deal.

The report claims that the centre-forward could likely return to the Catalan giants having already revealed his desire to do so during his disastrous second stint in the Premier League.

It is said that the 2015 CAF Footballer of The Year has a great relationship with Blaugrana president Joan Laporta, as well as with everyone around the club, including fans and that he may even take a pay cut to force the move through.
