Inter Miami are now said to be plotting a move for a Manchester City star, who could join the club before the opening match of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup between Lionel Messi's side and Al Ahly.
City find themselves in an undeniable crisis right now, as the reigning Premier League champions have won only one out of 10 games in all competitions, with seven being defeats.

Their misery could be further compounded by the potential departure of one of their key players in January, according to reports.
British outlet talkSPORT claims that Inter Miami are seriously considering the signing of City star Kevin De Bruyne, who is set to be out of contract in June 2025.
The Belgium international becomes eligible to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club of his choice next month, which he would join at the end of the season as a free agent.
However, the report claims that Inter Miami might not have to wait until the end of the campaign, as the 2025 Major League Soccer season begins in February next year.
It is also reported that the Florida club face stiff competition for De Bruyne's signature from a new franchise, San Diego FC, who are set to make their MLS debut in a few months.
It is believed that the 33-year-old favours a move to the United States over Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, it is said that City have not approached the player about a contract extension.
In the event that De Bruyne joins Inter Miami in January or at the end of the season, he would be eligible to play in the Club World Cup's opening game against Al Ahly on 15 June.
According to Marca, FIFA will open a special transfer window for clubs competing in the Club World Cup to make signings from 1 to 10 June 2025.
