The real reason for Manchester City star Joao Cancelo and Pep Guardiola's reported bust-up has now seemingly been revealed.
Earlier this week, it was claimed the Portuguese defender is on the brink of joining Bayern Munich on loan for the remainder of the 2022/23 season, with the deal believed to include an option to buy worth €70 million (R1.3 billion).

This shock news comes after reports suggested there was a problem between the manager and the Portugal player.
According to the Daily Mail, the straw that broke the camel's came when the fullback reacted angrily after learning that he would not be starting in City's FA Cup clash with Arsenal last week.
It is claimed that Cancelo has become disruptive to the squad as he became more and more vocal about his declining minutes of late, while his relationship with Guardiola is said to have rapidly declined since the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
It is further reported that the 28-year-old threatened to leave the club as a result, and once the situation reached the point of no return last week, City decided it would be best for Cancelo to leave.
