The 'condition' that could seal Kane's move to Bayern revealed

Bayern Munich are now reportedly willing to accept a particular condition that could seal Harry Kane's proposed move to the club.

The England international's future remains the subject of intense speculation as the transfer window draws closer to its final month.

The 30-year-old has one more season remaining on his contract at Tottenham Hotspur, and the London club is yet to confirm an official stance on his potential departure.

However, it believed the EPL side is wary of the fact that they could lose him for free in July 2024, and are thus considering letting him go if an acceptable bid comes through, although selling him to a direct Premier League rival such as Manchester United is thought to be last on the agenda.

As such, Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain appear to be the only teams making serious efforts to sign Kane, who is said to have already agreed terms with the former.

According to The Telegraph, the Bavarians are now willing to include a buy-back clause in the deal that would allow Spurs to re-sign him in the future, and there is now growing optimism they will finally secure the forward's signature.

The report claims that this condition could sway chairman Daniel Levy to agree to the sale as it would allow the player the opportunity to later extend his record as the club's all-time leading goalscorer and edge closer to Alan Shearer's crown as the Premier League's most prolific marksman ever.

Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe are set to fly into London soon for face-to-face negotiations with Levy, and are preparing to make a third bid of close to €100 million (1.9 billion) to the Lilywhites for the striker.

Manager Thomas Tuchel recently declared that he wants an out-and-out No. 9 for his team, while Bayern's honorary president Uli Hoeness indicated that Kane wants to join the Bundesliga champions, saying earlier this month: "He signalled very clearly that his decision was made. And if it stays that way, we'll get him.

"Levy is clever. First, we have to get him to name a price. He plays for time and is a great professional. I appreciate him very much. But on the other side there aren't any people who have been doing this since yesterday.

"He wants to play internationally. Tottenham won't be there next season – unlike our club. He now has another opportunity to come to a top club in Europe.

"What we really like about Kane is that his advisors, that is his father and his brother, are very pleasant. So far, they have always stood by what they have promised. And if it stays that way, then that's okay."
