Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni has shared why Lionel Messi is above Diego Maradona in his list of the greatest players of all time.
Messi completed his trophy cabinet in December when he lifted the 2022 FIFA World Cup after La Albiceleste defeated France in the final.
After scoring in every round of the tournament, many feel the Paris Saint-Germain superstar has eclipsed Maradona, who also led his nation to a World Cup title in 1986, as the best footballer the game has seen.

Others, such as Tottenham Hotspur legend Osvaldo Ardiles, insist that the late Maradona was better than Messi because of the various challenges creative players faced in the 1980s and '90s.
Argentina boss Scaloni has now weighed in on the debate, revealing why he feels the former FC Barcelona talisman is king.
"If I have to pick one [between Messi and Maradona], I'll take Leo as I have something special with him," he told Cadena COPE, per Marca.
"He's the best of all time, although Maradona was fantastic as well.
"Coaching Messi isn't difficult.
"Technically, you cannot correct him, but you can with certain situations relating to pressing or you can explain an attacking method to him.
"In terms of pressing, winning the ball and when the heat is on, he's number one."
