Neymar's agent breaks silence on Paris Saint-Germain future

Neymar's agent has confirmed the Brazilian's future for next season after he was heavily linked with a return to FC Barcelona earlier in the year.

The 28-year-old was heavily tipped to return to the Camp Nou before the start of the 2019/2020 season, but the move collapsed as Barcelona reportedly did not meet PSG's evaluation.

While there were reports Neymar was unhappy in Paris earlier in the year, Wagner Ribeiro has confirmed his client will remain at PSG next season.

"Neymar is happy and I think he will stay at PSG for at least two more years," Ribeiro said, as per Goal.

"Today, without any doubt, it is easier for Messi to go to PSG than for Neymar to return to Barcelona.

"Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. I'm serious. You can't doubt Qatar's economic power."

Since joining PSG in 2017 from Barcelona, Neymar has registered 70 goals and 35 assists in 134 appearances.

The Brazilian will now go in search of a second UEFA Champions League title when PSG take on Bayern Munich in the final on Sunday night.
