6-year-old fan slapped with 'stadium ban'

According to French outlet L'Equipe, the child will no longer be allowed at the stadium until early next year after being found throwing projectiles during Le Havre's 3-0 win over Reims on 10 November 2024.

The report claims the child was seen throwing paper cups and scrunched-up paper at a friend in the stands, but some of the objects landed beyond the advertising boards, which was deemed a breach of the rules.

An internal source at Le Havre told L'Equipe: "It's a bit distressing, but we're obliged to take action on these issues and in the face of exacerbated behaviour.

"We need to raise the awareness of those accompanying us and show that the stadium should remain a place for celebration, not a place to vent our anger."
