Paris Saint-Germain have been dethroned as the champions of France after being beaten to the Ligue 1 title by Lille over the weekend.
PSG's three-year reign as French champions was brought to an end on Sunday after Mauricio Pochettino's side were pipped to the league title by Lille, losing out by just one point on the final day of the domestic season.
The Parisians claimed a 2-0 away win over Stade Brestois, but the result was not enough to leapfrog Christophe Galtier's men, who secured their first league title since 2011 after beating Angers 2-1 in their concurrent fixture.
Lille's triumph means PSG have failed to win the domestic league title for the first time since signing star forwards Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in 2017, although the former did walk away with the division's Golden Boot award.
Mbappe claimed the coveted prize for the second consecutive season after netting 27 goals for the campaign, seven more than AS Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder and Olympique Lyon forward Memphis Depay, who shared second place.
