The Egyptian forward has been linked with moves to Barcelona, PSG and the Saudi Pro League in recent weeks.
The PSG president has expressed his affection for the Reds star but admits they have not spoken to the player.
"I love Salah, also because he came from our part of the world.
"I am very proud of him, honestly, for what he's done in the Premier League with Liverpool. And I have big respect for him and for Liverpool.
"So we never talked to him. Respect Liverpool and respect the player - he has a contract with Liverpool and we never talked to him."
Salah has been in fine form for Arne Slot's side this season after bagging 13 goals and eight assists 14 Premier League games.
