According to Argentine publication TNT Sports, PSG have prepared a two-year contract that they hope will entice Messi to trade the Nou Camp for the Parc de Princes, and which would include the option of a third year.
"I'm convinced that he wants to stay. This is his club," Laporta said following Barca's Copa Del Rey victory over Athletic Bilbao, per Daily Mail. "He gave an exhibition today and what's more he's surrounded by a great team. We will do everything in our power to make sure he stays."
