Report: Paris Saint-Germain's asking price for Neymar revealed

Paris Saint-Germain's asking price for Brazil superstar Neymar has reportedly been revealed.

As has become a regular theme in recent seasons, Neymar has been linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes ahead of the upcoming January transfer window, which is set to open in less than three weeks' time.

The former FC Barcelona star's contract at PSG is set to expire in 2022 and, despite the club having opened talks with the player over a new deal, contingencies have reportedly been put into place in the event that those negotiations are unsuccessful.

According to Sport h/t L'Equipe, the Ligue 1 giants would accept no less than €100 million (R1.8 billion) to part ways with the Brazil international, which would represent a significant loss on the world-record €222 million (R4 billion) fee the club paid to sign him from Barca in 2017.

However, Les Parisiens president Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently shared his belief that Neymar and Real Madrid-linked teammate Kylian Mbappe will both be extending their stays with the club in the upcoming weeks.

"We have started to speak with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe," Al-Khelaifi said, according to Sky Sports. "Those talks will remain confidential, but I am very confident. They both want to stay with us."
