Saudis chase another PSG superstar, Mbappe makes 'big call'

A Saudi club is now reportedly close to agreeing a deal for another Paris Saint-Germain superstar, with Kylian Mbappe having made a big call after receiving a huge offer of his own.

The Saudi Arabian contingent has set their sights on another world-renowned star amid reports that Sadio Mane and Fabinho are being courted by Al Nassr and Al Ittihad, respectively.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Al Hilal have agreed personal terms with PSG midfielder Marco Verratti after making a move for the player on Wednesday.

It is believed the Italy international has said "yes" to a three-year deal, and negotiations are now underway between PSG and the Middle East club, with the French giants said to be asking for more than €30 million (R586 million) to get the transfer over the line.

Meanwhile, Mbappe has been presented with the most lucrative offer of them all, with Al Hilal reportedly willing to pay him an annual salary up to €700 million (R13.6 million) for just one season.

PSG are understood to have already accepted a transfer fee of €300 million (R5.8 billion) for the France captain's signature, and gave the Saudi Pro League club permission to negotiate with Mbappe in Paris this week after he was left out of Les Parisiens' pre-season tour of Asia.

However, per Romano, the 24-year-old has refused to enter into any talks with Al Hilal, rejecting the opportunity to meet with a Saudi delegation who flew into the French capital in the hopes of sealing another sensational transfer.
