Casemiro subject to shock Man Utd loan exit?

After his half-time substitution against Liverpool, reports suggest that Casemiro could be the subject of a shock loan exit from Manchester United to another European club.

According to reports in Turkey, the Red Devils are now in talks with Galatasaray over the shock signing of Casemiro on loan.

The reports comes just days after the player's lacklustre performance in a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool, in which he made two errors leading to goals before he was substituted off at half-time.

According to Turkish journalist Ali Naci Kucuk, Galatasaray are exploring a few midfield options before the close of their transfer window on 13 September.

"Galatasaray also wants to strengthen its midfield line," reported Kucuk on his official X account. "Initiatives continue for [Weston] McKennie, who plays for Juventus.

"Casemiro is among the players contacted for the midfield line.

"Galatasaray is in talks with Manchester United to loan Casemiro for one year."

Further reports suggest that Casemiro is aware of Gala's interest, and will consider a move to the Turkish Super Lig if the right option becomes available.

It is also noted that Casemiro's chances of playing at United are likely to be reduced if he were to stay at Old Trafford following the arrival of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain.

Fenerbahce were also reported to be looking at signing Casemiro, but with the club having signed ex-United star Sofyan Amrabat in recent, that ship seems to have sailed.

Elsewhere, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that United have been offered the chance to sign France international Adrien Rabiot several times as he remains a free agent after his exit from Juventus, but it remains to be seen where his future lies.
