With four players having been released by United as free agents, the South American winger is now the sixth player to be sold by the Red Devils in this window, joining the likes of Mason Greenwood and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The 22-year-old joined United from Uruguayan giants Penarol in October 2020, in a deal worth €8.5 million (R167 million), but struggled to become a permanent fixture in the squad, and he was sent out for two loan spells, at Deportivo Alaves in the 2021/22 campaign and to Granada for the second half of last season.

Pellistri made just 25 first-team appearances for the English giants, who have reportedly also included a sell-on clause in the transfer.
