The Brazilian winger was given a leave of absence after the international break to deal with the allegations back home in Brazil.

However, the 23-year-old returned to Manchester earlier this week and voluntarily attended a police interview.

Antony will be returning to the squad but will not feature against Crystal Palace on Saturday, with Ten Hag revealing the situation has not been a distraction.

"I refer to the statement, everything has been made clear in the statement, I don't think it's a distraction," Ten Hag told a press conference, as per Goal.

"We will focus on the games. He will do as well."

United have been hit with an injuries once again, as Lisandro Martinez and Sergio Reguilon will be out for the next couple weeks.

"Every time the schedule is expanding, the load on the players is too much, it's such a great overload. Many colleagues of mine have pointed to that and I have pointed to that as well," he added.

"But it keeps going. We keep expanding the schedule. Anywhere, it won't stop. Players can't deal anymore with this overload and I think that's what you say in this squad at the moment."
