Real Madrid 'ready' to get rid of three stars

Real Madrid are now reportedly ready to get rid of three stars in the next transfer window.

While Los Blancos have shone brightly in Europe once again, having qualified for the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, they have endured a disappointing 2022/23 LaLiga campaign as they are currently 11 points behind log leaders FC Barcelona.

As such, a number of players are likely to be moved on at the end of the season, especially with potential incomings on the radar, with the midfield duo of Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund and Gabri Veiga of Celta Vigo among those who could seal a move to the Santiago Bernabeu in the next transfer window.

According to Fichajes, Carlo Ancelotti and company are now ready to part ways with Eden Hazard, Alvaro Odriozola and Jesus Vallejo.

Hazard has had a torrid time since his record move from Chelsea, having failed to make his mark with the Spanish club with only seven goals in 75 matches for the club.

The Belgian's contract is set to expire in June 2024, but Real reportedly want him off their books at the next opportunity.

The writing also appears to be on the wall for Odriozola, who has failed to disrupt the right-back pecking order of first-choice Dani Carvajal and back-up option Lucas Vazquez.

It is understood that Odriozola, who has made only 48 appearances for Los Merengues since joining from Real Sociedad in 2018, is willing to leave the club in order to find regular first-team football.

Vallejo, meanwhile, has been somewhat of an outcast in the squad this season, with the centre-back having featured only four times in all competitions, and has been linked with an exit throughout this campaign.

Striker Mariano Diaz is another player who is set for an exit from Real in July, with his deal is expiring at the end of this season.
