Brazilian wonderkid Endrick has revealed that Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo influenced his recent decision to sign for the Spanish giants.
Earlier this month, Real confirmed the signing of the 16-year-old from Palmeiras in a deal worth a reported £51 million (R1 billion), excluding more than £10 million (R204 million) in taxes yet to be paid, per the Daily Mail.

Los Blancos managed to beat strong competition from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and ElClasico rivals FC Barcelona to the teenager's sought-after signature.
The youngster has signed a contract with the Spanish giants until 2027, which includes with a three-year option to extended, but will only arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2024.
In the interim, Endrick will remain at Palmeiras, where he has already had four goal involvements in seven appearances in the Brazilian top flight after making his senior debut in October.
The young forward recently played in an annual charity match organised by Brazil legend Zico and scored a hat-trick in front of a crowd of more than 60 000.
After the match, he revealed why he decided to join the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League winners, despite serious interest from other big clubs.
"Real Madrid are a very big team. Vini [Vinicius Jr] had sent me messages and gave me more hope," Endrick told Marca.
"Cristiano also, who is my idol, played for Real Madrid. That's why I chose Real Madrid and I think it's the right choice.
"God has always been with me and he has told me that it is the best way."

Asked if he had already spoken to Real manager Carlo Ancelotti, he added: "Yes, I spoke with Ancelotti, with Rodrygo, with Eder [Militao], with the Brazilians.
"I am very grateful to God for everything that happens in my life and I hope that many good things will come, but you have to keep your feet on the ground, have humility and persevere."
