Spanish giants Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of a highly-rated Brazilian teenager on a long-term deal.
Real have developed a reputation for signing some of the brightest prospects to come out of Brazil, having signed first-team regulars Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo as teenagers in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
The club has now confirmed the transfer of 16-year-old talent Endrick on a contract until June 2027 from Palmeiras.

In a statement on their official website, Los Blancos said: "Real Madrid CF, Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, Endrick and his family have reached an agreement whereby the player will be able to join Real Madrid when he comes of age in July 2024.
"Until then, Endrick will continue his training at the SE Palmeiras. The player will travel to Madrid in the coming days to visit our club's facilities."

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the youngster set the reigning UEFA Champions League winners back by €60 million (R1.1 billion), including add-ons, while the club will also pay an extra €12 million (R222 million) in taxes for the transfer.
It is said that Carlo Ancelotti's side also have the option to extend his stay from 2027 to 2030.
The 14-time European champions managed to beat the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona and Chelsea to the player's signature, with the latter two clubs said to have already pitched their projects to the player.
Last month, Barca boss Xavi Hernandez confirmed that they had been working on bringing the coveted attacker to the Camp Nou.

"We have been talking to his father and also directly with the player," the Spaniard told ESPN.
"I explained to them the project we have at Barca. We want talents and he is a talent. He has goals, dribbles, and a tremendous ability to make a difference. He is a player for the present, already playing in the Brazilian league, and also for the future.
"He is the type of player we need. He knows the project and we are talking. I hope he joins us. It's up to him."
