Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has criticised the referee's decision to award Villarreal a penalty on Saturday evening.
Los Blancos suffered their second loss of the LaLiga season after going down 2-1 to the Yellow Submarine at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
Real got their solitary goal from a penalty early in the second half, before Villarreal were awarded a penalty of their own for David Alaba's handball.

"The handballs are open to interpretation and it's tough," Courtois told Movistar.
"David [Alaba] had his hand on the floor, he's trying to get up. He fell and it's his supporting hand. I don't know what the rule is, I've never seen an example like that.
"Let's see if next summer they come to talk to us and explain it. If you give a debatable penalty to them, where I think [Foyth] didn't see the ball, you give that one too. It's a kind of compensation."
Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti echoed Courtois' sentiments after the game.
"It was a difficult game, we've not defended well, and made mistakes at the start, and getting back in the game is not easy," as per reports from Marca.
"We have not started the year well, just like last year.
"When there is a handball in the area, it's a penalty. If it were up to me… it's neither one, nor the other."
