Real Madrid are now reportedly plotting a huge move for a Premier League star valued at a massive £150 million (about R3.5 billion).
Los Blancos have identified Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero as a top target, according to GiveMeSport.

Real manager Carlo Ancelotti is also believed to keen on signing the player in order to bolster his defence.
However, while it has been suggested that a move to the Santiago Bernabeu for the Argentine may be unlikely to happen during the current window, it is claimed the Spanish giants are planning an approach for the player at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

This comes after Ancelotti recently confirmed that his team will not be adding to the current squad by pursuing any more new signings ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The reigning LALIGA champions have added highly-rated Brazilian starlet Endrick and 2018 FIFA World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe to their ranks as they look to continue their dominance at both domestic and continental levels.
With their business now seemingly done, the Spanish giants are said to already be planning ahead for the 2025/26 campaign.
Los Meringues did consider pursuing the Argentine during the current transfer window, but decided to stick with the current centre-backs in the squad, with the Spanish outfit also prepared to promote Manchester United-linked Joan Martinez if required.
In the long term, though, it is said to be in the club's plans to secure Romero's services next year.
Real are believed to be a bit deterred by the £150 million (around R3.5 billion) price tag Spurs have slapped on the defender, although report suggest that this will not stop the 15-time UEFA Champions league winners from testing the EPL team's resolve.
