A certain Real Madrid star has released an apology to his teammates and fans after missing their Copa del Rey clash to watch an NBA game.
Aurelien Tchouameni was spotted attending an NBA Game between the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons in Paris on Thursday night.

Carlo Ancelotti's charges staged an impressive comeback by rallying back from two goals down to defeat Villarreal 3-2 at Estadio de la Cerámica.
The French midfielder released an apology after the backlash from supporters on social media.
Pido disculpas a mi club, al cuerpo técnico, a mis compañeros y a la afición madridista por mi presencia en un evento a la hora que nos jugábamos mucho en la Copa. He estado atento en todo momento a lo que pasaba en Villarreal, pero no he hecho lo correcto. Lo siento mucho.??

"I apologise to my club, the coaching staff, my team-mates and the Madrid fans for my presence at an event at a time when we were at stake in the Cup.
"I have been attentive at all times to what was happening in Villarreal, but I have not done the right thing. Very sorry."
