Juventus star Paul Pogba is reportedly on the verge of a major decision amid the doping scandal he has found himself in.
The France international is believed likely to receive a four-year ban from football after testing positive for the use of testosterone in September, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

This comes after it was confirmed on Thursday that anti-doping prosecutors called for the massive suspension of the 30-year-old, with Juventus having been reportedly informed of the punishment that could be handed to the 30-year-old, and the decision set to be made public soon.
It is also believed that the Bianconeri have already made up their mind on the matter, having decided they will part ways with the player, but only if the ban becomes official, with the only chance of the club reversing their decision coming in the seemingly unlikely instance that Pogba's suspension turns out to be only for a few months.
The club is now said to be waiting for the official announcement by the Anti-Doping Tribunal before holding talks with the midfielder about his departure.
Pogba's current contract with the Serie A giants is set to expire in 2026, and would reportedly cost the club almost €30 million (R607 million) — €9 million (R182 million) per year — if it were to run its full course.
The Italian giants are thus believed to be intent on freeing themselves from that burden by reaching an agreement with the Frenchman to part ways, with the player reportedly still set to receive a sum of money upon his exit.

The France international is currently out of action due to a preliminary suspension on the matter, which reportedly saw his huge wages decrease to just €2 000 (R40 476) net per month.
